Greetings Rafikis!
So this one is gonna be quick, but full of updates.
First and foremost, my gracious brother has tired of hosting all my new music and so he has bought me my own domain which will soon be developed into a fully functioning web site. FidiMwero.com is about to launch in the near future so stay tuned.
Meanwhile, you can click on the links below to access the NEW online home of my music. Feel free to listen to what has been recorded rough-shod so far. There's a brand new song too: "Render" (It and Rise Above ReMix were recorded live in the sound room at the Howard Performing Arts Center at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. I'm on keys and vocals and my buddy Greg Creek is the human drum kit, playing Djembe, tamborine, snare, and some kind of cymbal all at the same time.
fidimwero.com is in the works, but if I have my way it will contain:
1. This blog (which will permanently move over there) which will contain my opinions on:
Life
Theology
Automobile Industry
NASCAR (Don't hate)
Tennis
2. Photography projects
3. Music Projects
4. Writing Projects
5. Jogging/marathoning musings (Cause apparently I'm beginning to do the crazy marathon thing...)
Second and second most, as you can see by the photo above, I have run my first half-marathon. I'm super stoked about it because it was on my "midwest bucket list", meaning one of those things I wanted to do before I left the midwest. I specifically wanted to run the "holy-half". Don't ask me why, I think I just liked the name. My split time (half way through) was around 54 minutes, but my overall time was 2hrs 7mins. I have two feet with two large blisters to blame. Actually the blame should be on the 3 year old shoes. I know. Real runners, please try not to crucify me...huh?
Third on the totem pole is! There are many things a-happening this coming weekend too and hopefully you will be updated with pictures and stories and songs. There's even a wedding involved!! (Not my own...calm down folks).
And on that note, I'll leave you with one of my favorite song lyrics ever. The context: A guy who seems to be full of regret at his female friend's wedding. This song is by "Sister Hazel":
[The] wagon's been hitched to a star
now he'll be your thing that's new
what little I have you can borrow
cause I'm old and I'm blue...
p.s. - this does not reflect my feelings in anyway, I just think it's an incredible piece of song writing.

YAY for the new address! YAY for wordpress! YAY for running! Everything is just so exciting :)
